Faucett Aviation Airline Luggage Label
A common practice of travel in the early 1900's (1920's to 1940's) was for the hotels, airlines, railroads, steamers, etc. visited to provide an attractive labels advertising their location and give these to guests or place them on their luggage. Tourists would welcome these as badges of honor and to show where they have visited. In many cases these labels are all that remains. This label is from the Faucett airline in Peru founded in 1928 and merged into another airline in 1938. In 1999 it officially closed operations.
