Ouinquina Oude Pol
An early Dutch liquor ad from a matchbox cover featuring a Dutchman holding two bottles of liquor. Quinquina is a collective name for bitters (aperitif) having quinine as one of their main ingredients. Quinquina is also known as Peruvian Bark. It originates from South America. It was introduced to Europe in the 17th century by Spanish missionaries.
